Hans Voigt has long been regarded as a luminary in German beach volleyball: “The quiet guru who prefers to work in secret and shies away from the open stage”. The veteran coach who formed numerous top teams in German beach volleyball. Hans Voigt celebrated his 80th birthday at the end of November.

The 57th annual conference of the asp "Advances in Recovery and Stress Research" will take place from 29 to 31 May 2025 at the Ruhr University Bochum. The focus will be on recovery, stress management and their application in sport. Scientists and practitioners will exchange current research findings and discuss their practical relevance.
