Education and research areas

Our work is based on the fascination for competitive sports and also for the great variety of shapes of today's movement culture. In nine different disciplines, the Faculty of Sport Science in Bochum researches and teaches phenomena from these areas.

There is an incomparable fascination for sport, movement and training in the air here: over 1,000 young people are completing bachelor's and master's degree programmes in single and double subject orientation at the RUB Faculty of Sport Science.
