Dear first semester students!
Welcome to the Faculty of Sport Science at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
Following your compulsory course "Introduction to Sport Science" from Friday, 1 April 2022 to Saturday, 2 April 2022 we would like to invite you to the introduction days of the sport science student council.
Venue: lecture room 2 & 3, about 12 p.m.
Provisional schedule:
Friday
Organisational matters, getting to know each other, tour through Bochum, party, sleepover
Saturday
Sport, fun & games, assigning to the practical sport classes, open end
Please bring sportswear (indoor/outdoor), clothes for the evening programme and some pocket money for the city and the party, as we have planned various sports activities and an outstanding evening programme with you. Food will be provided throughout the weekend.
Spikeball and other (trend) sports will give you the opportunity to get to know your fellow students and clarify the last open questions about your studies. In the evening, we will celebrate the start of your studies at our faculty.
Please remember to bring clothes for the sleepover (sleeping pad and sleeping bag) to the sports hall. You will also need your student ID and your semester ticket for local public transport.
If you are not of age, please bring a letter of agreement from a parent or legal guardian.
Please confirm your participation via email to: erstitagesportrub@gmx.de with the info if you are vaccinated/recovered.
Important for all double B.A. students: bring the schedule of your second subject with you so that we can coordinate both subjects.
The 2G rule applies for the weekend. Due to the pandemic, we reserve the right to make changes concerning the schedule and will inform you about the hygiene concept in time.
