Ethics Committee of Sport Science
Is my research project ethically permissible? With this question, scientists can contact the local ethics committee of the faculty.
For the assessment, the independent commission considers the ethical guidelines of the relevant professional associations as well as the ethical principles for sport science.
The process
For basic information on the process (procedure, duration, content-related aspects, persons authorized to submit applications, etc.), please refer to the Ethics Committee's regulations. You can submit ethics applications at any time; these are processed in the middle of each month (the deadline is the 15th). Therefore, please submit your application at least six to eight weeks before the planned start of a research project (measurements, examinations, surveys).
